Job description Master:
• Responsible for safe and efficient operation of the vessel and its crew/special personnel
• Preparation of travels and projects and safely and efficient navigation and maneuvering of the vessel
• Responsible for proper communication between dredging ships, site management and other support vessels • Responsible for order, discipline and hygiene on board
• In charge of the vessel’s administration which will need to be communicated with the client on site!
• Creating reports of possible unsafe situations of circumstances
• Organizing, leading and overseeing regular safety drills You have the following qualifications and experience:
• Minimum Certificate of Competency qualified up to 500 GT
• Experience with tugboats/multicats or similar vessels
• Experience with tow- push or anchor-handling activities
• Experience with dredging support
• Professional level with English communication
• Radar-navigator, Ship Management, Medical care
• Basic Safety Training and Advanced Firefighting certificates
